For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 02/26.05.2026 Heard Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 07 of 2025. It has been alleged that a racket of prostitution was being run in the hotel of the petitioner and one Babita Devi. Several incriminating articles have been recovered. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there was an agreement between Babita Devi and Ritik Kumar for running the hotel and the petitioner has been implicated only on account of the fact that he has signed as a witness to the said agreement. The petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner was merely a signatory as a witness to the agreement between Babita Kumari and Ritik Kumar, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribagh in connection with Muffasil P.S.
