The grievance of the petitioner is that after his promotion against the post of Superintendent Grade-II, he now stands transferred from Solan Unit to Dharamshala Unit without appreciating the fact that the petitioner is 100% blind and he ought to have been accommodated at the station of his choice. 3. Learned Counsel for the respondents submits that a representation to this effect has been received by them from the petitioner yesterday only and appropriate orders thereupon shall be passed within a period of two weeks. 4. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of in light of the statement made by learned Counsel for the respondents, with the 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 observation that till appropriate orders are not passed on the representation of the petitioner, he shall not be forced to join at Dharamshala Unit and he is at liberty to avail the kind of leave due to him. The ban imposed on transfers on account of Panchayati Raj Elections in the State shall not come in the way of the Authority in passing the appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner.
