Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that in Hatishala P.S. Case No. 121 dated 4th June, 2025 though investigation is continuing but dissatisfaction is expressed on manner of investigation by the police authority. 3. It is submitted that certain other provisions are required to be added in aforesaid criminal prosecution. Prayer is made in this writ petition for giving direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps accordingly and for early conclusion of investigation. 4. Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 12th April, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Hatishala 2 Police Station, Kolkata along with certain documents and same is taken on record. Copy of the said communication dated 12th April, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. 5. It is disclosed in the communication dated 12th April, 2026 that in connection with aforesaid criminal prosecution one Barun Kumar @ Barun Dey was arrested on 19th August, 2025. Another FIR named persons namely Sarmistha Dey (Ghosh) moved pre-arrest bail application before the learned Sessions Judge, Alipore which was rejected. It is submitted on behalf of State respondents that investigation is going on. 6. Concerned police authority is directed to take investigation to its logical conclusion and file police report before the jurisdictional Magistrate at an early date. Liberty is also granted to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate, if petitioner is dissatisfied with the police report. 7. With the aforesaid observation writ petition stands disposed of. 8.
