The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Rajrappa P.S. Case No. 165 of 2025. It has been alleged that 49 solar batteries were stolen from a school. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confessional statement of a co-accused in Sikidiri P.S. Case No. 31 of 2025. It has been submitted that the petitioner is a labourer and does not have any godown. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. It appears from the impugned order that the stolen batteries were recovered from the godown, which is said to be belonging to the petitioner. Morever, the petitioner has got two criminal antecedents. On consideration of the aforesaid, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) 26th May, 2026. Simran/-
