The petitioner is aggrieved by the bills raised by the respondent WBSEDCL and prays for quashing of the bills raised in respect of its electricity meter connection for the period May, 2025 to October, 2025. On behalf of the respondent WBSEDCL, it is submitted that there are dues in excess of Rs. 8,00,000/- which are due and payable by the petitioner. In any event, in view of Clause 3.5.1 of the Regulations (WBRC). The disputes raised ought to be referred to the concerned RGRO. In view of the above, WPA 9922 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to file an application before the concerned RGRO having jurisdiction. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and all questions are left
2 open for the RGRO to decide in accordance with law.
