Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sukhdevnagar P.S. Case No.88/2026. It has been alleged that the petitioner had come to the shop of the informant and had thrown the goods on the road and when the informant protested, he was inflicted with a knife blow and his wife was also subjected to assault. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant and petitioner are own brothers. It has been submitted that the incident had taken place on account of a scuffle between both the brothers due to a property dispute. It has been submitted that as per Para 39 of the Case Diary, the injury found on the person of the informant was opined to be simple in nature. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. It appears from the impugned order that a deep cut injury was found on the stomach of the informant which corroborates the allegation that the petitioner had stabbed the informant with a knife. It further appears from a letter addressed to the Officer-Incharge of Sukhdevnagar P.S., Ranchi by the father of the petitioner that they have been ousted from their house by the petitioner and the informant. 2026:JHHC:15416 Regard being had to the entire circumstances as depicted above, I am not inclined to entertain this anticipatory bail application.
