In that regard, the petitioner has paid ₹35,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Five Lakhs Only) to respondent Nos.3 to 5 by way of demand draft bearing No.000695 dated 20.01.2026 drawn on HDFC Bank Ltd., Bengaluru Branch, in favour of respondent No. 3, namely, Smt.Narayanamma, in order to put an end to the litigation. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that the demand draft has been received by the private respondents. 2. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the respondent-Tahsildar to proceed to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records on the strength of the registered sale deed dated - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7739 WP No. 2616 of 2025 28.08.2010. The entire exercise should be completed as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
