The petitioner has come up in the present petition with a prayer that a direction be issued to the respondent no.2- District Magistrate, Kushinagar to decide the application filed for seeking compensation under Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojna. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and appropriate direction may be issued to the respondent no.2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without adverting into the merits of the case, we dispose off the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.2 - District Magistrate, Kushinagar to decide the application pending before him expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties in accordance with law.
