JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER Petitioner - husband is before this Court calling in question proceedings in C.C.No.109/2025, pending before the Principal Civil Judge (Jr. Dn.) and JMFC, Ramanagara District, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323 and 504. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent No.2 in unison submit that the parties to the lis have settled their matrimonial dispute amicably by drawing up certain terms and conditions and have reunited. Therefore, they are before this Court seeking permission to compound the offences. They have filed a compromise memo before this Court to that effect. 3. The compromise memo reads as follows: “The Petitioner and Respondent No.2 humbly submits that the Respondent No.2 had file a complaint against Petitioner under Section 498A, 323, 504 IPC came to be Registered as CR.No.89/2024 and later CC.No.109/2025 Now the petitioner and Respondent - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18593 CRL.P No. 4321 of 2026 No.2 under interference of elders and considering the future of 3 female children now are reuniting into there matrimonial life. Hence, Respondent No.02 is withdrawing all the allegations made against this Petitioner. The same may be taken on record in the interest of justice.” In the light of the fact that the parties have arrived at settlement and the couple have reunited, I deem it appropriate to accept the compromise petition and terminate the proceedings against the petitioner, as the allegations are not against the State. 4. For the aforesaid reasons, I pass the following: ORDER (i) The criminal petition is disposed.
