Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the impugned transfer order No. ्ቅाሰक/41/एफ-/्ቚशासन/2026, (Annexure P/1) dated 24-02-2026 passed by Respondent No.2 (Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Housing Board), and thereby permit the petitioner to continue to work at the present place of posting. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is holding the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) and working under Respondent No. 2. Petitioner is posted in Jashpur Division only on 17.04.2025 and within a short span of time of about 10 months he is again being transferred to Dantewada Division. He submits that petitioner has not even completed a year at the present place of posting and now subjected to transfer. It is contention of learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner was posted at Jagdalpur and on some complaint being made against him, he was suspended and his head quarter was made to Raipur vide order dated 16.01.2025 and after revocation of suspension petitioner was posted at Jashpur division. Wife of petitioner is also carrying pregnancy. Petitioner has already submitted representation before Respondent No. 2 vide Annexure P-4 dated 27.02.2026 and therefore direction be issued to Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation and till decision on the representation is taken, status quo with respect to place of posting of petitioner may be directed to be maintained. 3. Learned counsel for Respondent No. 2 would submit that transfer of petitioner appears to be on administrative exigence as along with 3 petitioner as many as 13 other similarly situated employees have been transferred. He however submits that representation submitted by petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner vide Annexure P-4 dated 27.02.2026, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of order passed by this Court. 6. Further considering the fact that petitioner till date has not been relieved, as per the submission made by learned counsel for petitioner. Petitioner is posted only on 17.04.2025 and that wife of petitioner is carrying pregnancy, purely as an interim measure, it is directed that status quo with respect to place of posting of petitioner, shall be maintained by the parties, till decision is taken on the representation submitted by petitioner. 7.
