The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody in connection with Telaiya P.S. Case No. 299 of 2024 for the offence registered under Sections 272, 274, 275, 292 of the B NS, 2023 and under Section 47(a)(f) of Jharkhand Excise Act, has prayed for regular bail. As per the prosecution case, it is alleged that 80 litres of Mahua liquor was seized from the forest area and further, 3000 Kg Jawa Mahuwa kept in syntax was destroyed by the Police raiding party. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he was not apprehended on the spot and has been implicated only on the basis of suspicion. It is further submitted that similarly situated co- accused has already been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on Security Deposit of Rs.25,000/- (by way of cash) and on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
