The petitioner has field the present writ application praying for a direction upon the respondent authorities for taking proper steps against the respondent Nos. 7 and 8 for demolition of the unauthorized construction over the property in question. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the earlier occasion the petitioner has filed the writ petition being WPA 25826 of 2022 (Khadija Begam vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.). The said writ petition was disposed of by the Coordinate Bench of this Court dated 24th August, 2023 by passing the following order:- “In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 9th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 8th 2 September, 2022 within three months from the date of communication of this order, upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested persons including the petitioner and the private respondents, in accordance with law.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order passed by the Coordinate Bench was duly communicated to the authorities but the authorities have not taken any steps. Accordingly, the petitioner has filed the present writ application. 4. Considering the above submission made on behalf of the respective parties, this Court finds that the Coordinate Bench has already passed the order on 24th August, 2023 but the authorities have not taken any steps. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the authorities to comply with the order passed by this Court in WPA 25826 of 2022 dated 24th August, 2023 by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the private respondents and to pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 6. It is made clear that if the authorities find that the private respondents are in illegal occupation of the property in question, the authorities will take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 3 7. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8. Urgent Photostat certified copy, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all formalities. (Krishna Rao, J.)
