ORDER:-
This Contempt Case is filed against the respondents complaining willful disobedience of the order, dated 08.12.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.26273 of 2021.
2. During the course of hearing of this Contempt case,
learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the order of this Court is complied with and he received the payments in the month of November, 2025.
3. When this Court asked the respondents’ counsel about the delay of four years in complying with the order of the Court.
Learned counsel for respondent No.4, would submit that, in fact, in compliance of the order of the Court, the amounts were received by the Gurrapadia Gram Panchayat, Kondepi Mandal, Prakasam District in the year 2021 itself, but due to a mistake, the said amounts were paid to some other person and thereafter, rectifying the mistake, the amounts were paid to the correct person. During that period, in view of the fact that the Panchayat Secretary could not recover the amounts from the person to whom the amounts were wrongly paid, there was a delay in making payments to the petitioner.
