Chetry, learned counsel for the respondent No. 1 as well as Mr. P. Mahanta, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 2. The petitioner in the present writ petition has prayed for a direction upon the respondent No. 1, to issue to him an Enrolment Certificate and to permit him to enroll as an advocate under Section 58(1) of the Advocates Act, 1961. The learned counsel for the petitioner has further prayed that the “Certificate of Practice” of the petitioner is yet to be issued by the respondent No. 2, although the petitioner had cleared the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) in the year 2026. Mr. P.D. Nair, learned Sr. counsel appearing for the respondent No. 1, submits that the petitioner has already been issued his enrolment certificate. Mr. P. Mahanta, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, on instruction, has submitted that the requisite documents for issuance to the petitioner his “Certificate of Practice”, has already been received by the respondent No. 2 and the petitioner having already cleared the AIBE, the “Certificate of Practice” shall be issued by the respondent No. 2, within a period of 03 (three) months from today. In view of the above submission of Mr. P. Mahanta, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, this Court finds that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and there being no further live issue arising in the present writ petition for adjudication, the same stands closed.
