Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 613/2022 of Police Station Dayalpur, Delhi for offence under Section 308/323/427/455/506 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no. 2) has settled the disputes with the petitioner. 2. At the outset, learned APP on instruction of IO/SI Shiv Dayal and ASI Hem Raj submits that trial has already commenced and proceeded substantially, in which the present respondent no. 2 has already deposed. This is not denied by counsel for petitioner. 3. In view of legal position described by the Supreme in the case of Narinder Singh & Ors vs State of Punjab & Anr., (2014) 6 SCC 466, the impugned FIR cannot be quashed invoking inherent powers of this Court, because trial as mentioned above has already proceeded ahead. 4. Therefore, the petition is dismissed.
