The petitioner is before this Court calling in question the proceedings in C.C.No.2794/2016 on the score that the charge sheet itself is filed after 10 years of the registration of the crime that would not become a circumstance that would entail entertainment of the present petition of the husband, who is alleged to have tortured the wife and the offence under Section 498A of the IPC being sprung. 3. Learned Addl. SPP submits that the charges have been framed long ago and the matter is at the stage of evidence. 4.
