The petitioner is an accused in connection with Palkot P.S. Case No. 55 of 2023. It has been alleged that four persons were apprehended from two vehicles and Ganja was recovered from one of the vehicles. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated only on account of the fact that he is the owner of Swift Dzire car. It has been submitted that Khustar Ansari, the person, who was apprehended from the spot, has been granted bail in B.A. No.1873 of 2024. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the person, who was present in the vehicle from which commercial quantity of Ganja was recovered, has been granted bail as noted above, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Jude, Gumla in connection with Palkot P.S.
