Shahid and Shahrukh Khan, who are in custody since 06.11.2025 in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 528 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2), 297(2) and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 7 of Lottery Regulation Act, Section 11 of Bihar and Bengal Gambling Act and Sections 4 and 5 of the Bihar Ban on Lottery Act, 1993 pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dhanbad, is pressed into motion. Police conducted raid on an information that illegal lottery printing factory was being operated. During raid, petitioners were found working inside the premise, who were arrested on spot. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioners that they are poor labourers and similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
