The petitioner is an accused in connection with Dhurwa P.S. Case No. 71/26(N). The petitioner and another accused were apprehended by the police and brown sugar was recovered from their possession. So far as the petitioner is concerned, 1.60 grams of brown sugar was recovered which is a small quantity and it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that if the brown sugar recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and the co-accused is considered, the same will be an intermediary quantity. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 04.04.2026. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner Cum Spl.
