The petitioner is an accused in connection with Jharia P.S. Case No. 179/2025. It has been alleged that when the informant and others protested against the act of the accused persons stealing coal, associates of the informant were brutally assaulted. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that one co-accused Ganga Bhuia @ Gangu Bhuia @ Gangu Bhuiyan has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 7306 of 2025. It has been submitted that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 02.04.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner has criminal antecedent. Regard being had to the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additiosnal Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad in connection with Jharia P.S.
