Biswas, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 2. This petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed by the petitioner, namely, Hanif Ali, apprehending arrest in connection with Kokrajhar P.S. Case No. 85/2026 registered u/s 64(1)/88 of BNS. 3. The gist of the allegations in the FIR was commission of sexual assault leading to pregnancy which was subsequently aborted on the behest of the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner. The petitioner was granted interim bail on 24.06.2026. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that pursuant thereof he appeared before the IO and his statement was recorded. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner appeared and co-operated with the investigation. 4. Though case diary was called for but learned additional Public Prosecutor, Mr. Goswami submits that the charge sheet has been submitted upon completion of investigation vide CS No. 96/26 dated 23.07.2026. 5. In view of the completion of investigation and cooperation rendered by the petitioner, who is also stated to be aged around sixty years, the interim bail granted on 24.06.2026 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner: (a) shall be available for trial, if one commences; (b) shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence of the case. (c) shall not influence or threaten or harm the victim and her family members. 6. It is submitted that the petitioner is also under summoning order from the learned court below. In view of the same, the petitioner shall appear before the learned court below on the next and subsequent dates and submit fresh bail bond in terms of this order whereupon necessary orders shall be passed by the learned Court. 7. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
