The Court made the following ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.
This Writ Petition was filed questioning the action of the 4th respondent in attempting to evict and dispossess the petitioner from her land bearing Sy.No.634/2 to an extent of Ac.2.80 cents, situated at Kudair Village and Mandal, Anantapur District, without issuing any notice and without cancelling the D-Form Patta granted in favour of the petitioner. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader relying upon the written instructions of the 4th respondent dated 07.01.2026 submits that pursuant to the grievance raised by the petitioner herself under the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS), the entire Sy.No.634 of Kudair Village was measured on ground by the competent revenue and survey authorities. After conducting physical verification and field measurement, it was clearly found and recorded that the petitioner is in actual possession of only Ac.2.10 cents and not in Ac.2.80 cents as claimed in the Writ Petition. The PGRS report No.ATP202512013414, dated 09.12.2025, conclusively establishes that the petitioner’s claim regarding the possession of Ac.2.80 cents is factually incorrect. No eviction proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner till date. No notice for eviction has been issued and no forcible dispossession has been taken place. The Revenue authorities have only discharged their statutory duty by conducting survey and demarcation strictly in accordance with the Rules and that too based on the petitioner’s own request under PGRS. 4
4. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner refers to the endorsement issued by the 4th respondent dated 04.10.2025. 5. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, and the written instructions of the 4th respondent dated 07.01.2026, as the respondent- authorities have not interfered with the peaceful possession of the petitioner as detailed in the said written instructions, no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________________ JUSTICE B KRISHNA MOHAN
