It is the contention of the petitioner that 30 guntas of land in Sy.No.3 of Kuratahalli Village, Kasaba Hobli, Chintamani Taluk, Chikkaballapura District was - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12629 WP No. 6589 of 2026 granted in favour of the petitioner under the Karnataka Land Grant Rules, 1969, in a public auction, pursuant to the grant a saguvali chit was also issued on 21.09.1994 as found at Annexure-B. The name of the petitioner was mutated in the revenue records in terms of M.R.No.49- 27/1997-98. However, after computerization the name of the petitioner was not continued in the revenue records. 3. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent-Tahsildar to continue the name of the petitioner in the computerized RTC, infact the petitioner also filed an appeal before the Assistant Commissioner in proceedings bearing No.R.A(Chin)325/2024-25 and the Assistant Commissioner passed an order on 15.10.2024 directing the Tahsildar to mutate and continue the name of the petitioner in the computerized RTC, nevertheless, the Tahsildar has not complied with the directions issued by the Assistant Commissioner. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12629 WP No. 6589 of 2026 4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Chintamani Taluk, to proceed and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records and continue the same in the computerized rtc, in terms of the directions issued by the Assistant Commissioner in proceedings bearing No. R.A(Chin)325/2024-25 as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
