HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - A No. - 16313 of 2026
Court No. - 52 HON'BLE MRS. MANJU RANI CHAUHAN, J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record. The petitioner has preferred the instant writ petition for a direction upon the respondent no. 3 - District Inspector of Schools, Mau for issuance of joining letter to him on the post of Peon in pursuance of letter of contract dated 13.03.2024. In this regard, he is stated to have placed a representation before the respondent no. 3 which has failed to elicit any response. Learned Standing Counsel contends that there is unexplained delay of nearly two years in filing the present petition and in view of the settled position of law, a contractual person cannot claim right to be appointed. In view of the above, the writ petition fails and is dismissed accordingly. No order as to costs.
