The applicant – wife, who is residing at Pulgaon, Taluka – Deoli, District – Wardha has filed the present application seeking transfer of Hindu Marriage Petition (HMP) No.267 of 2025 from the file of learned 16th Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Amravati to the file of learned Civil Judge, Senior Division Wardha. 2. Distance between, Pulgaon to Amravati is around 65 kilometers and distance between Pulgaon to Wardha is around 35 kilometers. 3. Learned advocate for the applicant has stated that applicant – wife is indisposed and she will not be in a position to travel from Pulgaon to Amravati for contesting the petition. However, in order to contest the proceeding at Wardha also, the applicant will have to travel from Pulgaon to Wardha. 4. In view of the aforesaid, no case for seeking transfer of the petition from Amravati to Wardha is made out since the distance between Pulgaon to Wardha and 2 13. MCA 170.26.odt Pulgaon to Amravati is almost the same. The application is rejected. 5. The respondent-husband shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- to the applicant-wife on each date she attends the proceedings before the learned 16th Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Amravati, towards her travelling expenses.
