Boruah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. M. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 2. This petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed by the petitioner, namely, Ranjan Bordoloi and Parthajyoti Naukakhya, apprehending arrest in Page No.# 2/2 connection with Sivasagar P.S. Case No. 150/2026 registered u/s 117(2) and 109(1) of BNS. 3. The gist of the allegations in the FIR lodged by the brother-in-law of the victim is that on 28/7/26 in connection with some buying and preparation of meat, the petitioners assaulted him leading to serious injuries and undergoing treatment in ICU of Jorhat Medical College and fighting for life. 4. Mr. Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits after perusal of the case diary that investigation has revealed that the nature of the assault was serious in manner leading to significant injuries and that the person is still undergoing treatment in the ICU, JMCH. It is revealed there from that the petitioner is also required to undergo brain surgery. 5. In view of such circumstances, it may not be justified to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and stands rejected at this stage. 6. Return the case diary. 7. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
