By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks following relief: “a) Pass appropriate writ(s), order(s) or direction(s) in the nature of writ of certiorari thereby quash/ set aside the impugned order dated 15.04.2026 passed by Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, Delhi in Case Co.205/2025; Order No. 1829/Joint CP/Lic./SCN dated 12.09.2025 passed by the Joint Commissioner of Police, Licensing and Order dated 27.09.2019 passed by Additional Commissioner of Police Licensing whereby License No.WDRG/8/0000/27 of Revolver Bore No. FG-0661 was suspended pursuant to registration of FIR No. 254 / 19, U / s. 336 IPC, PS; Rajouri Garden, Delhi against the petitioner and directions be issued to respondents to renew the Arms License of the petitioner;” 4. In these circumstances, considering the orders passed by the concerned Magistrate and the background of the case, it is directed that upon the petitioner depositing the fire arm at the nearest Police Station/authorized gun house, his application for renewal of the license will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks from date of such deposit, under intimation to the petitioner. 6. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of, with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach this Court, in case need so arises. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of. 7.
