The petitioner is an accused in connection with Jharia P.S. Case No. 236 of 2020. It has been alleged that the petitioner and other accused persons were involved in misappropriation of government money with regard to scholarship payment of minority students. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that with respect to same set of allegations, 13 cases have been lodged against the petitioner. He has further submitted that the petitioner is a Clerk in the District Welfare Office, Dhanbad and is in custody since 09.12.2025. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad in connection with Jharia P.S.
