Mr. Rajiv Das, the claimant/respondent No. 1 in this appeal, is also present. It has been submitted that the present claim has been mutually settled for a total amount of Rs. 4,25,101/-. An amount of Rs. 2,12,550/- had already been paid to the claimants. The remaining amount of Rs. 2,12,551/- shall now be paid by the insurance company to the claimant No. 1. In view of the settlement arrived at, the MAC Appeal is closed. A copy of the settlement shall be retained in the records. The statutory deposit of Rs. 25,000/- shall be refunded to the company as per procedure. The remaining amount of the compensation receivable by the claimant shall be credited to the bank details to be furnished by the claimant to the insurance company.
