It has been alleged that the petitioner has entered into the house of the informant in the dead of night and inflicted knife blows on the daughter of the informant. Though, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 23.02.2026 and the charge sheet has been submitted, but regard being had to the fact that there is specific allegation against the petitioner of inflicting knife blows on the daughter of the informant.
