Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record. 2. This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court concerned for early disposal of Case No. 199 of 2022 (State Vs. Anil Chauhan and others), arising out of Case Crime No. 212 of 2021, under Sections- 498-A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station- Barhan, District- Agra, pending before the court of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Agra. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the said case, after taking cognizance, charge has been framed on 29.02.2024 and since then more than two and half years have been passed but not even a single witness has been examined. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one and half year from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.
