The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records in relates to the case of the petitioner from the possession of respondents for its kind perusal. 10.2 This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent No. 2 to release/pay the balance amount to the sum of Rs. 7,90,722/- of GPF account of the petitioner within a period of 15 days with interest @ 18% per annum. 10.3 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/relief’s in favour of the petitioners, which the Hon’ble Court deemed fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner stood retired from service after attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2023. After retirement, when the petitioner was paid only Rs. 12,744,413/-. He approached to the Block Education Officer raising grievance that he has been paid less amount towards the General Provident Fund (GPF). The Block Education Officer after verifying the account of the petitioner maintained in the office, wrote a letter to the Respondent No. 2 on 21.11.2024 (Annexure P/2) mentioning that the total amount according to the office of Respondent No. 6 in the GPF account of the petitioner was Rs. 20,65,135/-. However, less amount has been paid and have mentioned that the amount towards the GPF account of the petitioner is still remaining to be paid as Rs. 7,90,722/-. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondent No. 2 opposes the submission of counsel for the petitioner and would submit that after receiving instructions from the Respondent No. 2, he has filed documents along with covering memo today showing that the total deposit in the account of the petitioner is Rs. 12,51,334/-. The interest accrued on it as Rs. 5,22,022/- and simple interest as Rs. 43,358/-. He also submitted that from the total aggregate amount, it is showing that there was withdrawal 3 of Rs. 6,02,000/- and thereafter, the amount has been paid as Rs. 12,64,715/-. He further submits that if petitioner is aggrieved with in any manner regarding making payment of less amount, he can file appropriate proceedings before the Pension Committee constituted by the State Government. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to file representation/appropriate proceedings before the Pension Committee constituted by the State Government and direction be issued to the concerned Committee to consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by the petitioner at the earliest within specified time frame. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 6. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit fresh representation before the Pension Committee constituted by the State Government to consider the grievance of the retired employees against the dispute with regard to their retiral dues and if such a representation is submitted by the petitioner, concerned Committee shall consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of representation. 7.
