1. Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record.
2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities.
3. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in respondent no. 7. She has been working in the said School since 2010.
4. The application of the petitioner for transfer on the ground of physical disability, as enshrined in the Notification dated September 8, 2021 under Rule 4(b), is pending since January 2026.
5. The petitioner has to travel a distance of 200 kilometers on a daily basis to attend to her duties as Assistant Teacher.
6. The school authority is directed to consider the application of the petitioner and forward the same to the District Inspector of Schools, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible for transfer.
7. This process shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of service of this order by the petitioner to the school authority.
8. With the afore-stated directions, the writ-petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
9. All parties including the school authority will act on a server copy of this order.
