The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that a letter dated 29.01.2026 bearing no.B/90/26 has been forwarded by the Ranchi University to the Director Higher and Technical Education Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi along with the reasoned order dated 29.01.2026. 3. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner has been found entitled for the claims but the matter is now pending before the aforesaid authority of the State government. It is submitted that the petitioner has retired in 2017. 4. The learned counsel for the State has submitted that the needful will be done by the authority shortly. In view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the state it is expected that appropriate steps will be taken by the aforesaid authority at the earliest. 5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the State that the needful will be done by the authority shortly, this 2026:JHHC:4101 2 Court is not inclined to proceed any further in this contempt proceedings, which is hereby dropped. 6.
