JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER W.P.No.414/2020 is filed by the President of the Aluru Grama Panchayat, Dasanapura Hobli, Bengaluru North Taluk, along with two other members of the Gram - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13281 WP No. 29735 of 2025 C/W WP No. 414 of 2020 Panchayat, raising a challenge to the Official Memorandum at Annexure ‘A’ dated 19/20.08.2019 passed by the respondent-Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru Urban District, withdrawing the earlier order dated 05.08.2019. Earlier the Deputy Commissioner had resolved to grant 10 guntas of land in Sy.No.149, Aluru Grama, Dasanapura Hobli, Bengaluru North Taluk, for the benefit of the Gram Panchayat for construction of a building of the Gram Panchayat since the existing building was in a dilapidated condition. 2. It is noticeable that the petitioners have impleaded the Panchayat Development Officer, Aluru Gram Panchayat, as respondent No.3 to these proceedings. It is clear that the President of the Gram Panchayat nor the members of the Gram Panchayat have any resolution passed at the hands of the Gram Panchayat to file this writ petition and raise a challenge to the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner. Pursuant to the filing of this writ petition, one more writ petition is filed in W.P.No.29735/2025 at the hands of one Sri Harish Kumar R., seeking a direction to the respondents to stop all further constructions at the hands of the Gram Panchayat in the land allotted by the Deputy Commissioner. In the said writ petition also, there is no private interest of the petitioner. The petitioner is trying to espouse public cause. Therefore, neither of the writ petitions are maintainable. 4.
