For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 02/26.05.2026 Heard Mr. Abhishek Kumar Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Seraikella (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 02/2026. It has been alleged that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the informant. The informant was subjected to torture and ultimately, under compulsion, the petitioner had solemnized marriage with the informant. However, the petitioner has flatly refused to solemnize a registered marriage with the informant and had caused mental and physical trauma to her. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the informant which ultimately culminated in marriage and fact that the petitioner is in custody since 31.01.2026, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella in connection with Seraikella (Mahila) P.S.
