1. By way of filing this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks issuance of direction to respondent No.4 – Additional Tahsildar, Bhilai Nagar, Tahsil Bhilai, Distt. Durg (CG) to decide Revenue Case No.202601101000232 A-70/2025-26.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the recorded owner of land bearing Khasra No.2272 area 0.60 hectare situated at BINI PRADEEP Digitally signed by BINI PRADEEP Date: 2026.04.22 17:32:37 +0530
2 Village Kohka, Near Junwani-Kohka Main Road and Avanti Bai Talab, Tahsil & Distt. Durg. He further submits that some portion of the aforesaid land has been encroached by respondent No.6, which is also evident from the joint enquiry report (Annexure-P/6), therefore, the petitioner filed an application under Section 250 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959 (for short ‘the Code 1959’), before respondent No.4, which has been registered as aforesaid revenue case on 27.01.2026, however, the same has not been decided yet. Hence, it is prayed that this petition may be disposed of directing respondent No.4 to decide aforesaid revenue case in time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the respondents submit that they have no objection if the above prayer of the petitioner is allowed.
4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of at this stage directing respondent No.4- Additional Tahsildar, Bhilai Nagar, Tahsil Bhilai, Distt. Durg (CG) to decide Revenue Case No.202601101000232 A-70/2025- 26, as early as possible, preferably, within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With aforesaid observation and direction. this petition stands disposed of.
7. Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, stands disposed of.
