Angna, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Mr. I. Borthakur, the learned Standing Counsel appears on behalf of the Forest Department. 2. The petitioner herein has assailed the order dated 10.05.2016, issued by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Assam, whereby a mineral concession Page No.# 3/3 was granted in favour of the respondent No. 7. 3. A perusal of the impugned order dated 10.05.2016 reveals that the Letter of Intent granting the mining permit was issued in favour of the respondent No. 7 for a period of 7 (seven) years. The record reveals that although notices were issued, no stay was granted in respect to the said impugned order. 4. Under such circumstances, nothing further survives for consideration, taking into account that the period for which the mining contract was granted to the respondent No. 7 vide the impugned order dated 10.05.2016, have already spent its force.
