The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody since 30.10.2025 in connection with Kolebira [Simdega] P.S. Case No. 61 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 319 (2), 318(4) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 and under Section 12(1) & 12(2) of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act, 2005. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that nothing has been seized from the possession of petitioner and his name has come up on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. Further, the co-accused, Md. Nabib @ Lallu Sheikh @ Ballu @ Bablu has already been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No.9547 of 2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. It is submitted that there is direct and specific allegation against him and further he has criminal antecedent of four cases of similar nature. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and criminal antecedent against the petitioner, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby, rejected. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.)
