JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER Petitioners – accused Nos.1 and 2 are before this Court calling in question registration of a crime in Crime No.215/2023, pending before the 3rd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Bengaluru, for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 506 and 34 of the IPC. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners – accused and respondent No.2 – complainant in unison submit that during the pendency of these proceedings, the parties to the lis have settled their disputes amicably by way of issuing cheques to the complainant. The parties have agreed to the settlement and have affixed their signatures on the order sheet of the petition. 3. In the light of the cheques being handed over by the petitioners in favour of the complainant, I deem it appropriate to disposed of the subject petition. 4. For the aforesaid reasons, I pass the following: ORDER (i) The criminal petition is disposed. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20596 CRL.P No. 10148 of 2023 (ii) The impugned crime in Crime No.215/2023, pending before the 3rd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Bengaluru, qua the petitioners, stands quashed. (iii) It is made clear that in the event the cheques would get dishonoured, for whatsoever reason, the entire crime would get revived.
