The petitioner is an accused in connection with Nirsa P.S. Case No. 368 of 2020. It has been alleged that the petitioner and other accused persons were involved in misappropriation of government money with regard to scholarship payment of minority students. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that with respect to same set of allegations, 13 cases have been lodged against the petitioner. He has further submitted that the petitioner is a Clerk in District Welfare Office, Dhanbad and is in custody since 10.12.2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the period of custody, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Dhanbad in connection with Nirsa P.S.
