Page No.# 2/3 It has been submitted that the parties have agreed to a total settlement amount of Rs. 7,52,000/- as a full and final settlement of all claims against the impugned Judgment and Award dated 08.08.2025 in MAC (injury) Case No. 76/2018, passed by the Learned Member, Motor Accident Claim Tribunal Morigaon. Out of this, an amount of Rs. 2,52,000/- has already paid. The remaining of Rs. 5,00,000/- shall be paid to the bank account of the claimant. Accordingly, the matter is settled on compromise in terms of the pre- settlement/compromise slip for the National Lok Adalat, which is made a part of record. Both the parties shall put their signature in the pre-settlement compromise slip as token of acceptance for the settlement. Accordingly, the National Insurance Co. Ltd. shall deposit the remaining settlement amount of 5,00,000/- before the Registry of this Court within a period of 45 days from the date of this settlement order, failing which the amount shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum until the date of deposit. The Registry shall disburse the amount to the claimant, Abu Sahed upon proper verification and as per procedure. Page No.# 3/3 Upon furnishing proof of the deposit of the entire settlement amount, the Registry shall release the statutory deposit made by the appellant, if any.
