By way of filing this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks issuance of a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 5 to decide the representation dated 13.01.2026 (Annexure-P/3) filed by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a recorded owner of land bearing Khasra No.259/5 area 0.12 acre situated at village Karhi, PHN – 10, Tahsil Haoud, Distt. Sakti (CG). He further submits that vide award dated 22.03.2017, land of the other villagers of the village Karhi were acquired for construction of Basantpur- Parsada-Ghoghari Road and compensation has also been paid to them. He further submits that for the construction of aforesaid road, land of the petitioner has also been utilized, however, it has not been mentioned in the award. Therefore, the petitioner has filed representation/application dated 13.01.2026 (Annexure- P/3) before Collector, Sakti, but the same has not been decided yet. Hence, it is prayed that respondent No.3/Collector may be directed to decide the representation/application of the petitioner within stipulated period. 3. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents/State submits that there is an inordinate delay in filing of the writ petition and the representation before the competent authority. Learned counsel further submits that if the representation/application is still pending consideration, it will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. On due consideration of the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing the respondents 3 to 5 to consider and take decision on the representation/application dated 13.01.2026 (Annexure- P/3) filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/submission of a copy of this order. 3 6.
