Singh, APP …...... 03 /17.02.2026: This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 115(2) and 309(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. It is a case of robbery. The allegation against the petitioner is that he along with three others came on motorcycle and snatched the money and key of the informant’s truck and when the informant tried to oppose, he was badly assaulted by them. This petitioner has been apprehended from the spot of the robbery. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18.07.2025. 5. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail. 6. Considering the aforesaid fact that the petitioner has been apprehended from the place of robbery, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Chowka PS Case 2026:JHHC:4537 2 No. 52 of 2025, pending in the Court of learned SDJM, Chandil stands rejected. 7.
