The said memorandum of settlement is duly signed by the parties and their respective counsel. 3. The terms of settlement are culled out as under: 1. “In view of this settlement the Appellant has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) to the Respondent as full and final settlement in two equal installments by way of online transfer/RTGS/UPI/NEFT. The 1st installment of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only) will be payable on or before 02.04.2026 and the 2nd installment of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only) will be payable on or before 02.05.2026. Both the parties state that apart from the above they have no claim/s of any nature as against each other either past, present or future. 3. In view of the settlement between the parties the Respondent has agreed to withdraw the Ex.No.3470/2017 pending before the XLI Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru. 4. The parties further state that there has been no collusion or force, fraud or any undue influence by any of the parties to enter into this compromise in the aforesaid manner.” 4. The memorandum of settlement is taken on record. 5. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the appeal stands disposed of in terms of Memorandum of settlement.
