The petitioner is an accused in connection with Sonari P.S. Case No. 116/2025. It has been alleged that a dacoity was committed in the jewellery shop of the informant and five gold chains were looted. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that some co-accused persons have been granted bail and the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of the co-accused persons. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner was identified in the test identification parade which distinguishes his case with that of the co-accused persons who have been granted bail, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
