T. Chistie, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2. The matter pertains to grant of pension under Assam Services (Pension) Rules, 1969 to stipendiary teachers. Mr. Chistie, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 has produced an order dated 17.01.2026 which has been issued by the Director of Elementary Education, Assam pursuant to the determination made by this Court under its order dated 31.03.2023 in WP(C) No. 6403/2021 (Purnima Hore & Ors –Vs- State of Assam & Ors), which goes to show that the Government has approved grant of pension under the Assam Services (Pension) Rules, 1969 and the list of such beneficiaries also includes the name of the petitioners at Sl No. 55 and 57. In view of the aforesaid, the order dated 31.03.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 4353/2022, stands complied with.
