Also heard K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the Page No.# 2/2 accused-petitioners, namely, Nur Hamid and Jannatul Hoque, praying for grant of bail in connection with Kachumara P.S. Case No.02/2026 under Sections 21(b) of NDPS Act who are in custody since 24.01.2026. 3. The case diary was called for but the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits the wireless communication received from the IO stating that upon completion of investigation, charge sheet has been submitted by CS No. 7 of 2026, dated 11/3/2026. 4. The allegation was about a recovery of suspected contraband in the nature of heroin and that the weight of the same is stated to be 9.510 grams. As far as heroin is concerned, commercial quantity is above 250 grams. 5. In view of the length of detention and completion of investigation, both the accused persons are hereby allowed to go on bail of Rs. 30,000/- each with one suitable surety of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned concerned court subject to the following conditions that the petitioners: (a) shall cooperate with the trial if one commences. (b) shall not misuse their liberty to commit any illegal activities or offenses, including any offenses under the NDPS Act Violation of bail conditions entails cancellation of bail. 6.
