Heard Ms. Rosalynn L. Hmar, learned counsel for the applicant.
This is an application under Order 1 Rule 10(2) read with Order 1 Rule 8A of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, for impleadment of the names of 8(eight) parties mentioned in paragraph No. 2 of this application, as respondents in the connected PIL petition.
Page No.# 3/3 The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the impleadment of the parties mentioned in paragraph No. 2 of this application, is necessary as they are the contractors who had carried-out the renovation work and construction projects of different jails in the State of Mizoram in terms of the approved designs, drawings and specifications.
Ms. Linda L. Fambawl, learned Addl. Advocate General, Mizoram, and Ms. Zairemsangpuii, learned CGC, appearing on behalf of their respective Opposite Parties, have no objection to the impleadment, as sought for by the applicant.
Prayer, as sought for, is allowed.
In view of the above, Registry shall implead the names of the parties mentioned in paragraph No. 2 of this interlocutory application as respondents No. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15 in the connected PIL.
The interlocutory application, accordingly, stands allowed and disposed of.
