The only prayer made by Shri Syed Abid Ali Naqvi, learned counsel assisted by Shri Gyanendra Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner is for a direction upon the respondent authorities to conduct a fair investigation in Case Crime No. 327 of 2026, under Sections 85, 80(2) of the BNS and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Meja, District Prayagraj. Learned AGA on the basis of instructions submits that a fair and impartial investigation is on foot. He further submits that the husband of the deceased had been arrested during the course of investigation. The investigation against the other family members of the husband of the deceased is still pending. The interest of justice will be served by issuing the following directions: I. The concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police shall ensure that a fair and impartial investigation is conducted in the matter as per law. II. In case the petitioner has any grievance with regard to the investigation, he may make an application before the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police. II. In case such application is made, the concerned Deputy Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ashutosh Mishra, Gyanendra Kumar Yadav, Syed Abid Ali Naqvi Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Vijay Kumar Yadav .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) Commissioner of Police shall examine the matter in accordance with law.
